I finally made it to book number 6 of the Harry Potter series. This one and number 7 are the two that I have never read. I can totally see how people just become a hermit for 12 hours or so and read the book cover to cover on the first day that they get it.
And luckily, I have been able to stay away from book 7 spoilers since it came out…was it last year? Pretty impressive. Helps that we don’t watch tv and when ever anyone wrote about the book, I immediately skipped that part.
So, imagine my surprise when I was zipping through Mona’s blog post about the new Sex and the City movie and she makes a casual remark about what happens in book 7. Oh Mona… I keep telling myself that she is just referring to it coming out (pun intended) about Dumbledore’s homosexuality and not that he is the one that dies in book 7.
I didn’t think that reading a Sex and the City recap would lead me to a Harry Potter spoiler…I guess it was bound to happen, can’t stick my fingers in my ears forever.
