I have few words to describe my thoughts as I turn the last page of book 6 in the Harry Potter series.
Wow.
Dang.
I almost don’t want to read book 7…not like it can get much worse. It will though, won’t it? And who am I kidding? I already have the book out, on the bed with my bookmarker in it.
Dang. *shaking head*
Peace.
That I absolutely must have this bag: Big Town Bag
Any ideas on how to convince DH that I must have it? He will be a hard sell, that DH. He doesn’t see the need for more than one bag. He just doesn’t get it. Here is a good example for you…
I bought my last Coach purse almost 10 years ago. It only gets sporadic use, mostly because I need a larger bag (to schlep around diapers and toddler snacks), so I use a couple of different bags on a rotating basis. I have been lamenting the fact that I would love a new Coach purse for quite a while now. 3 years in fact.
I even went so far as to make a deal with him.
Yes, I went there. Well, not there, perv.
The deal is that I learn how to give him a haircut at home and for every haircut I give him, I get $10 towards the “New Coach Purse Fund”. I have given him 3 haircuts, so I am up $30 so to speak. At this rate, it will take me 2 years to get my new purse. But that is okay, I knew it going into “the deal”.
Sometimes it is tough being married to someone so frugal. Notice, I didn’t say “cheap”, there is a big difference between cheap and frugal.
Did I mention that he is planning on buying a new road bike (bicycle) that costs as much as the new-to-us minivan that we are purchasing next month? I think that I might have some leverage there.
Peace.
