Cayenne is my netbook. If you aren’t familiar with netbooks, click here to see more about mine, an Acer Aspire One. If you are in the market for a netbook, let me know and I can hook you up with my sales guy. Anyway…here she is:
The garden hand shovel is just in the picture to show the size. Of course, I had to sew a padded case for her. I couldn’t find a tutorial online that I loved, so I winged it and made my own. Which included much swearing and using the seam ripper. Those zippers will get me every.single.time.

I picked up the printed fabric at my local Jo-Ann’s fabric store. The blue is from the stash. The case is padded with organic cotton quilt batting and lined with a repurposed white bed sheet. I am working on a matching bag for her power cord, thumb drive and my iPod connector cord. It has a zipper, so let the swearing and seam ripping commence!
Peace.

Nice case! I was going to sew one for mine, but I found the perfect size Jansport laptop-ish bag, so I just bought that instead. I’d like to applique it some time. (Yeah right, I’ll never make the time….how sad.)
I LOVE the color! We would have ordered a red or pink one, but on the off chance that James would borrow it out in public, we decided to go with blue. I’m thinking of painting designs on it though. (Again, do you really think I’ll find the time? Prolly not. How sad.)

Wally World has them for about $50 cheaper-if they are in stock.
